There is nothing like falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean! Oh man! It was peaceful and really there isn’t it’s like having your very own sound machine at your back door. Last year my BFF, her family and I planned a trip to the beach. Little did we all know that when the time came I would be 8 months pregnant.
But since I am we made the most of it. And snapped as many pictures possible of my growing little bean! Thank goodness for such a close friend that share the same passion for photography as I.

Those that know the 2 of us would be totally shocked to know that WE yes Lori and I got up at 5:15AM for these shots and I’ve got to tell you it was SO very worth it. {No dad we did not stay up all night long we really got up to get these}

I *tried* to get a picture of Lori but well this is all she allowed me to get….kinda reminds me of my little guy he wouldn’t let us capture his face either.

It was so very nice to get away and a joy to watch my kids and nieces play and relax on the beach.

There is a overwhelming joy and appreciation to being a mom when you look and see all the towels hanging all over the place at ALL times!

There is also something ever so special about having coffee while staring at the ocean!

So as you can see we completely enjoyed our time at the Beach and I can’t wait to get back again later this summer. Here are a few other captures that I just had to share with you all.

This happens to be my favorite capture from the entire trip. My 2 baby girls. Maya is thrilled to have a little sister on the way. She has been the BEST helper ever. I’m so thankful for this image I just WISH my son would stop to take one with me but he was too busy with the sand and didn’t really care.

We got this idea from some across the miles friends. My photographer friend Amy had her sister Stacey take this gorgeous shot of her girls rubbing sand on her pregnant belly. We decided to do the same thing put the baby’s first letter of her first name on mine. I just love how it turned out!

As you can see we had a WONDERFUL time. I’m glad that baby didn’t give me any trouble and I was able to enjoy the time with my family and friends. I just had to take time to share our images with you all. I hope you enjoyed them!
Until next time!
