April is known for something other than Uncle Sam’s “BIG day”! It’s also Earth Month. With Earth Day just a couple of days away I’ve decided to hold a promo.

Did you purchase a new tree to plant in your yard this year? What about flowers? If you did email a picture of your flowers or trees along with your proof of purchase to snlprophoto@gmail.com For each tree planted you will receive a free 8×10 with your booked session {value of $50}. Did you plant 3 or more trees? If so you earned yourself a free session.* Flowers planted will earn you a free 5×7 {value of $30}.*

*The stinky rules: you must book and pay for your session in order to receive either prints. Sessions must take place prior to November 1, 2010. There is a $350 minimum print order for all sessions. G I R L you are correct!
I am proud to announce I will officially join the list of photographers who spend too much money on shopping for their little girls! It’s bad enough I have a diva in my house as it is but now a baby diva is on the way….

I started shopping a little for this lil bean that’s growing but I have to admit I’m so indecisive. I think it’s because they make so many adorable sweet girly clothing!

How freaking adorable is this little purple tutu?? I love it. It’s handmade from my good photographer/friend {and we recently found out family member}

Much like when Katrina happened, watching the news on the horrible situation in Haiti saddens and frustrates me. There are many incredibly brave men and women who are out there volunteering their time and risking their lives to help. I wish I was in a position and of strong enough constitution to do the same.

But I’m not.

So instead, I’m teaming up with Helping Hearts! My mentor/across the miles friend Michele Anderson of Pinkle Toes Photography, and her dear friend Lyndsay Stradtner of Life in Motion Photography, decided that together, we need to do something to help. But, we need you, too! Here’s the deal:

Your littlest sweetheart could win a helping hearts photo session in the heart of downtown Leesburg!
• This session will be photographed by myself and will be held before 5pm onFriday, February 5th.
• Session is for up to 3 children (6 months and older) and will last between 1-2 hours.
• Winner will also receive 25 fully processed, high resolution images on CD. Print to your heart’s content!

How to win:
• Make a MINIMUM donation of $10 to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund .
• Forward a copy of your receipt to snlprophoto@gmail.com.
• All entries must be RECEIVED by midnight (Eastern time) on January 27th.
• To keep things fair donations have to be dated from today thru the 27th .
• Winner will be drawn at random and announced on January 28th.
• That gives you a week to shop for the perfect sweetheart outfit, if need be.

• You can enter as many times as you’d like, but each entry must be the minimum $10 donation.

Other details:
• Session participants must sign a model release.
• Session must be held in Leesburg on Feb. 5th.
• If the winner does not claim his/her prize by Feb. 1st or cannot claim the prize, then another winner will be drawn.

Last year I took part of Giving is Awesome. Which was kick started by a photographer in New Jersey that caused over 500 photographers to donate over $565,000 worth of custom photography to deserving people around the world. WOW weee! This year I have decided that I *must* participate again! So it’s time….

You know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.

You know someone. I guarantee it.

I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography — $2000 worth, to be exact. Whether it’s albums, prints for Grandma, or a slideshow to watch over and over, it’s in your power to give them the artwork they deserve this holiday season.

T & T are expecting their 2nd baby in a matter of days….and well they decided that it was the cool thing to do and NOT find out the sex either!

I was recently hanging out at their home for our session…wow was I thrilled that mom decided their home was perfect location for our session. She was so right. The fall leaves along side comfy weather made for a perfect evening. An evening to watch their little guy enjoy his last few days of being an only child. We watched him skateboard, drive his car, play with the ducks, feed them, run, fall, run and fall again! He is 100% boy and kept tumbling and getting right back up to run off again. It was great watching him play.

By popular demand I have created Holiday Mini sessions. What are mini sessions you ask?? An easy way to create images for your holiday cards and gifts…..yep you can cross Aunt Linda and Grandma off the list with this one….

The Frosty Collection is due at the time of booking to hold your slot however you may upgrade when you receive your gallery. You will be provided an on-line password protected gallery of approximately 8-10 images to select from. All sessions are by appointment only. Immediate family only. Select from several different custom designed cards created by Stacy Nicole {all samples will be on hand for you to choose from}.
