I find it VERY important that I give back. It’s what makes the world go around. I have carefully selected organizations that I’m passionate about. You may read about them below.

Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a charitable organization that serves two main purposes – celebrating life and supporting the cause.
Celebrating Life
Through our photography network, we are helping breast cancer survivors and their supporters to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Sessions are available to document the fight before or during treatment or to celebrate the victory when treatment is completed. Please see the “Celebrating Life” section of this site for more details and information.
Supporting the Cause
The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation
All funds generated through donations and various fundraising efforts are paid directly to The Eric R. Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.
The Foundation focuses on providing financial support for the chemotherapy and mammography needs of uninsured or underinsured individuals; establishing social and psychological support programs for individuals facing breast cancer, their caregivers and children; and fostering opportunities for individuals to educate themselves and others about the life and death importance of early detection.

Pictures of Hope
Pictures of Hope is a charitable organization of professional photographers who provide complimentary, documentary-style, photography sessions to babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and their families. The Pictures of Hope Foundation is comprised of photographers (many of whom are “NICU mothers” themselves) from across the United States and Canada who are dedicated to donating their time to a cause they believe in; and sharing the gift of photography with families in need.
I am excited to announce I am now a participating photographer of Pictures of Hope. Feel free to spread the word to anyone you think would benefit from the services provided by Pictures of Hope.

I’ve been meaning to sit down and tell you all about this WONDERFUL program that I’m apart of for a long time now.
What is it Pocket Full of Love?
pocketfullofLOVE is a creative way to
support our troops serving in Iraq & Afghanistan .
Families of deployed or deploying soldiers receive donated photography sessions from people like you and me. The photographer shoots a full family session, edits the images and creates pocket sized books for the soldier, their family, and the person who donated the full session*. The pocket sized books (hence the name pocketfullofLOVE) are designed to fit into the solders uniform or flack vest- so that at any time our soldiers can have a reminder of their lifeline… what they fight to defend… their family & our way of life. Along with the books the soldiers will receive 2 DVD slideshows of the collection of images and an 11×14 print to hang in their home. 25% off of all other ordered prints can be enjoyed by the soldier, their family, & friends.
*you receive a pocketfulloflove book with the donation of a full session… partial donations receive a 5×7 print
The way that it works…
you give, soldiers receive.
your donations go directly to families of soldiers who are deployed, or are deploying.
A list has been created (and grows daily) of soldiers that are in need of this incredible gift.
When $250 is received a family is notified and a session is scheduled.
But i can only give a little…
Your little combined with other’s little… is a BIG DEAL!!
Any donation you make will be received with gratitude and joy, I promise. The founder Shauna Maness says she “will never forget the tears that came down the face of Nina Smith.” (she was the first to receive a pocketfullofLOVE session) Know that these soldiers work HARD. They give everything they have to their country and their family anything you give will be significant. Soldiers together make the Army and we together can be an Army that supports them!
So let’s join hands and give, Don’t worry about how much or how little- just give the portion you can – it will be the perfect amount, I promise!
I want to donate to a specific family…
That gets a little tricky… but we’ll do our best!
when a full donation is made by you and the family is in my area (Dover, DE, Maryland DC or West Virginia) send me their contact information (if they aren’t on the list already) and we will schedule the session.
If you don’t donate a full session, your donation will be added with others and the next family on the list will receive the session.
Is this available where I live?
It depends… where do you live?
Shauna is are creating a network of photographers to participate in this cool program (they have to qualify & agree to some guidelines)
so, tell me where you are, and I will check your area… and if you know some photographers that you LOVE…
send their info to Shauna at shaunamaness@gmail.com and she will contact them and let them know you want them to join in the fun!! If you are a photographer and interested in this program email her today and she will send you the information you need to participate!
