Facebook is a wonderful thing! It’s a place to post updates to your friends on your family, kids, work, pregnancy and birth and all the in-betweens of life. It connects you with high school & long lost friends like no other! It’s the best networking tool ever {why didn’t I think of it??} I mean really it’s unbelievable the long lost connections that I’ve made on there. So back to this post....I did something *crazy* and went to this session… my newborn session empty handed….what does that mean I ONLY packed my camera bag nothing else. No beanbag, no heater, no bowls, no blankets no moving in….I’m talking just me my camera and my lens…I WAS scared! I mean scared! I’ve always carried those things to my newborn sessions. But I was thrilled when I asked mom what I always ask my clients…what are your goals for our session….her answer “a family image” JACKPOT there was my chance to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. I’m so so very glad I did! {Photographers I challenge you to try this at least once}

Check out this lil sweetie! Originally her mom and I planned to do a maternity session but her sweet Miss Mollie had other plans and arrived before we could have our shoot.
